A global, privately owned organisation with operations across 35+ countries is seeking a Financial Accountant to join its Group Reporting team on an 18-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing finance function during a period of transformation and growth.
You’ll play a key role in supporting consolidated financial reporting, statutory accounts, and external audits across multiple international entities. The role also involves preparing accounting schedules, reconciliations, and reports while contributing to process improvements as the business implements enhanced global financial systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate and manage external audit deliverables.
• Prepare month-end journals, reconciliations, and financial reports.
• Support statutory reporting and UK GAAP accounts preparation.
• Liaise with offshore teams to ensure timely month-end close.
• Contribute to technical accounting papers and process improvements.
Requirements
• ACA qualified with Big 4 training – essential.
• Newly or recently qualified, with strong technical accounting knowledge.
• Confident managing audits and working to tight deadlines.
• Advanced Excel and strong communication skills.
• Available to start within 4–6 weeks.
