We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Reporting Accountant to join a dynamic and fast-growing Lloyd’s Syndicate. This role will play a key part in supporting the Regulatory Reporting team with the completion and delivery of quarterly and annual submissions to Lloyd’s, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial information. Key Responsibilities: • Support the preparation and delivery of financial information to Lloyd’s, including reporting under UK GAAP, Solvency UK, performance monitoring, and overseas submissions • Collate and prepare data required for both internal and external reporting • Prepare analysis and control documentation for regulatory returns to support review and evidence compliance with internal controls • Present reports and returns to management for review and sign-off • Liaise across the wider Finance team and other departments to manage deliverables and ensure reporting deadlines are achieved • Contribute to maintaining a robust control environment to ensure accurate and timely reporting • Collaborate effectively with internal teams such as Group Finance, FP&A, Capital, Tax, and Reserving to ensure clear communication and data consistency • Foster a productive relationship with external service providers to ensure efficient delivery and continuous improvement • Identify opportunities for process enhancement, automation, and improved use of financial systems and technology Skills & Experience: • Strong analytical, modelling, and numerical skills • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities • Advanced Excel skills essential • Experience within a Lloyd’s syndicate or insurance finance environment • Proven ability to work accurately under pressure and to tight deadlines • High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work • Collaborative mindset, with the ability to build effective relationships across teams
