Edenbrook are working with a top performing Lloyd's Specialty Insurer on a Senior Internal Auditor opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct audits across different departments, focusing on risk and compliance.
Create audit plans that align with company goals.
Lead walkthroughs to understand processes and document findings.
Design audit programs following professional and regulatory standards.
Deliver audits with clear, evidence-based reports and useful recommendations.
Work with teams to implement and follow up on audit recommendations.
Take part in special projects as needed.
Keep up to date with training on auditing, financial controls, and regulations.
Maintain skills through ongoing learning and professional memberships.
Work independently and collaboratively to achieve results.
Support and mentor junior auditors to encourage teamwork and growth.
Skills & Requirements:
Good knowledge of audit processes and standards
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience with data analytics.
Understanding of risk management and internal controls.
Excellent communication and report writing skills.
Ability to work well in a team and raise important issues when needed.
Skilled at identifying improvements that benefit the organization.
Good time management and ability to handle multiple tasks.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Qualifications & Experience:
Relevant degree from a recognized university.
Professional certification preferred (e.g., ACA, CIA).
Experience in the insurance industry, ideally with Lloyd’s market exposure.
