Portfolio PMO Lead Run Off London £110k - 12mths FTC Project Manager Working with a global top 10 insurance group undergoing innovative modernisation and transformation, are looking for a an experienced Project Manager to support the exploration, and possible execution, of solutions to bring finality to the run-off portfolio, for a 12 month FTC. The Business change team support delivery of the change portfolio and of the wider strategic vision. It is essential that these solutions introduce no client detriment whilst also balancing the financial and operational benefits that such arrangements can provide. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities • Manage and motivate cross functional teams and third party suppliers to ensure projects are completed to tight deadlines and within budget • Engage with senior stakeholders and sponsors to scope a workable and value adding project • Identify risks and mitigation activities to ensure that the level of risk concerning a project is defined and managed • Plan the project workstreams and activities and track and manage delivery • Forecast and manage the project cash flows to ensure that the project is delivered on budget • Engage with a broad set of stakeholders to identify and agree benefits targets • Plan and manage the governance structure for the project and ensure that it functions effectively • Estimate and manage the project resources – both internal and external • Provide meaningful, and high quality, status reports that ensure that key stakeholders are kept appropriately informed You will need to be able to display you have the following qualifications and experience: • Proven Project Management experience • London Market insurance industry experience essential • Experience of run-off arrangements and divestments via reinsurance contracts • Ability to develop clear, concise and compelling storyline for executive presentations • Change management skills • Good interpersonal, communication and organisation skills • Ability to operate well under pressure, to tight deadlines and to adapt rapidly to changing situations without prejudicing integrity or quality • Collaborative/ partnering approach to working with cross cultural team
