We are currently partnering with a Market Leading Lloyd’s Syndicate to recruit an Underwriting MI Analyst. The successful candidate will be contributing to the development of the Group Data Strategy, working with the Operations, IT and Data teams to enhance the quality of reporting and supporting business MI ‘self-service’. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Develop and maintain robust Power BI dashboards to support underwriting teams in effective portfolio management. • Support the accurate cataloguing and classification of key data assets to enhance data governance and accessibility. • Collaborate with underwriting and operational teams to design and implement efficient internal and external reporting solutions. • Promote and contribute to a Power BI best practice framework, working closely with data engineers and cross-functional stakeholders to improve data transparency, timeliness, and accessibility. • Assist in the preparation and delivery of regulatory and Lloyd’s reporting requirements, including Lloyd’s PMD submissions. • Work extensively with underwriting data, building a deep understanding of business needs to ensure data solutions are aligned with strategic objectives. The ideal candidate should have: • Proficient in Power BI development, including dashboards, data modelling, DAX, SQL, and Power Query. • Familiar with Lloyd’s and London Market insurance processes and practices. • Understanding of data governance, including ownership, quality, and compliance. • Developing knowledge of core insurance systems, including policy administration.
