Edenbrook are currently recruiting an External Audit, Insurance Senior Manager with a leading Accounting and Advisory firm. The successful candidate will have responsibilities leading high profile insurance audit engagements and facilitating their completion as well as forward looking and pre-emptive consideration of upcoming developments and business needs identified in relation to external audit. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Facilitating the completion of audit field work • Effective management of audit process with appropriate accounting technical matters • Ensuring completion of audits/projects within agreed timescales • Drafting final documents for review by partner • Participation in due diligence or other transaction support engagements • Reviewing accounts in accordance with UK GAAP/IFRS The ideal candidate should have: • ACA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent) • Previous experience of working with IFRS and / or UK GAAP reporting standards • Experience in auditing financial services clients
