Here at Edenbrook, I am working with a leading international insurance and reinsurance company for a Head of Group projects. Reporting to the Group COO, the successful candidate will support the leadership team in the timely execution of strategic projects and key operational initiatives. The Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to: • Support the Group COO and the leadership team in the timely execution of strategic projects and key operational initiatives across the group. • Lead and support cross-functional teams in the delivery of internal transformation projects, managing all aspects of multiple related workstreams to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives. • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences including project team, sponsors, and key stakeholders. • Work with local management teams to restructure operations and separate non-core businesses, bringing a commercial focus to the projects to identify priorities. • Support the onboarding of acquisitions when deal flow is such that Integration Function requires additional, senior resource. • Coordinate the preparation of, and assist in drafting, Investor updates regarding business performance and updates on strategic initiatives. • Work closely with Functional Heads to identify opportunities to improve business processes and operating efficiency across the Group and manage the subsequent delivery of those projects whilst not disrupting day to day operations. • Participate in and/or drive feasibility studies, vendor selections and proposals for evaluation by appropriate key stakeholders. The successful candidate will have a: • Minimum of 7+ years of experience within the insurance industry, either in a Strategic Finance, M&A, Project Management or Advisory capacity responsible for delivering change. • Experience of integration / separation projects an advantage. • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent). • Graduate (Diploma, Masters etc.) in Business Administration and/or Finance, or other relevant vocational qualification (e.g. CFA, ACA).
