• Own the monthly financial reporting to shareholders and the Board, including detailed variance analysis versus budget and prior year.
• Partner with the Financial Controllership team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of monthly management information.
• Support the CFO in communicating financial performance to key stakeholders, including shareholders, the Executive team, the Group Board, and employees, including periodic presentations.
• Drive the ongoing development and documentation of the Group financial planning cycle, ensuring clarity of roles, responsibilities, and governance.
• Lead the automation and enhancement of FP&A processes and deliverables, including development of planning tools (e.g. Anaplan) and collaboration with Data teams.
• Act as a strategic business partner to underwriting teams, presenting quarterly results and providing insight into financial performance.
• Develop and implement monthly expense reporting against budget for underwriting teams and functional heads.
• Produce annual peer group benchmarking and analysis for presentation to executive leadership and the Board.
• Prepare for and manage the future line management of an FP&A analyst as the team expands.
• Engage proactively with senior stakeholders across Underwriting, Actuarial, Risk, Compliance, HR, and executive leadership to support informed decision-making.

• Proven track record of leading financial planning cycles and delivering change and transformation initiatives.
• Experience overseeing Board- and shareholder-level reporting within a regulated financial services environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with excellent attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to senior stakeholders.
