We are currently partnering with a Market Leading Specialty Insurance company to recruit a Finance Operations Specialist on a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will provide oversight of financial and operational systems, processes, administration, and internal controls across the Finance department.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Oversee Financial & Operational Systems: Provide oversight of key financial systems, processes, administration, and internal controls across the Finance department.
• System Administration: Manage the administration of systems such as NetSuite, Concur.
• Contribute to New Initiatives: Play an active role in designing and implementing new systems and processes to enhance the Finance function.
• Process Improvement: Drive improvements in Finance processes, focusing on driving efficiencies and ensuring smooth operations across the department.
• Collaborative Team Environment: Work closely with Finance team members and other business functions to ensure effective collaboration and strong communication.
• Ensure Compliance: Maintain a strong control environment by ensuring that Finance processes are understood, developed, and adhered to across the business.
• Relevant Input into Business Processes: Provide valuable input into broader business processes, ensuring that Finance is aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
The ideal candidate:
• Strong background within the Insurance industry.
• Solid background within finance, and an in-depth experience in a similar role within Finance Operations.
• Experience of NetSuite or Concur.
