New all-encompassing Compliance Manager opportunity working with a market leading reinsurer operating within the Lloyd’s Market. Reporting into the Head of Compliance, you will act as the function lead to provide Compliance oversight, support and challenge to Appointed Representatives. In addition, you will assist in arrangements for compliance activities throughout the organisation to meet Solvency II, FCA, PRA and Lloyd’s regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: · Assist with compliance activities throughout the organisation to meet Solvency II, FCA, PRA, Lloyd’s and other applicable regulatory standards. · Act as the function lead to provide Compliance oversight, support and challenge to Appointed Representatives. · Provide Compliance support to management and other internal stakeholders in respect of key third parties and ARs. · Help to identify, and mitigate exposure to regulatory risk. · Provide training and mentoring support to junior members of the function. · Where necessary assist the Compliance Conduct Risk Manager in providing oversight and support to the Delegated Authority team. · Support the Delegated Authority team in providing oversight to any ARs wishing to hold DUA arrangements, including detailed risk assessments. · Attend Committee meetings/forums as and when requested. · Support the review of new and existing external and internal / Group requirements. · Provide ad hoc advice on Compliance matters to the business. · Engage in the periodic review and update of practices and procedures. Key Skills & Experience: · Significant Lloyd’s/ London Market Insurance experience. · Relevant degree or equivalent. · ACII qualification is desirable. · Excellent understanding of FCA Conduct Risk requirements.
