Edenbrook are partnering with a Leading Global Insurance broker on a Client Money Assistant opportunity. The individual will ensure the business has the appropriate processes and controls in place to ensure CASS compliance with FCA. Key Responsibilities Support weekly Client Money Calculations (CMC) for all UK-managed entities Log and follow up on CASS breaches in line with regulations Monitor client money balances and flag unusual changes or trends Help coordinate and track CASS training for relevant staff Assist with CASS audits, including gathering information and preparing responses Contribute to ongoing projects aimed at improving client money processes and controls (e.g., policies, third-party funds, Appointed Representatives) Collaborate with teams such as IBA, Treasury, and Compliance to maintain effective working relationships Support system reviews and input to CMC processes Stay up to date with changes to CASS rules and FCA expectations Provide ad hoc assistance to the Client Money Manager as needed Qualifications & Skills Strong academic background Solid understanding of insurance market practices and terminology Clear knowledge of FCA CASS 5 regulations Experience Preferably from a finance or IBA role within the insurance sector Hands-on experience with CASS 5 implementation Team-oriented with a collaborative approach Strong system and management information (MI) experience is a plus
