We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented claims professional experienced in handling Direct & Facultative property claims in the London insurance market. You will manage claims from notification through to settlement, working closely with underwriters, actuaries, panel lawyers, adjusters, and service providers. Responsibilities: • Adjust claims within your authority, ensuring accurate reserving and efficient resolution • Build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders • Oversee delegated claims and manage third-party service providers • Instruct and work with panel lawyers, adjusters, and experts to control costs and reduce claims leakage Candidate Profile: • Prior experience in property claims handling • Understanding of policy coverage, claims negotiation, and claims strategy • Knowledge of legal, regulatory, and territorial issues • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines effectively • Integrity, accountability, and a positive, enthusiastic attitude • Lloyd’s market knowledge preferred but not essential
