Currently partnering with a market leading applied technology services provider to support a prominent well-respected Insurance Broker in their search for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO). The successful candidate will be responsible for translating the client's business and technology problem spaces, portfolio of applications, technology standards, framework utilization and business domain requirements into specific system solution designs. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to; • Act as Account CTO with deep knowledge of Cloud, Containers, AI/ML/GenAI, APIs, and modern application architectures (both server-side and client-side). • Provide end-to-end technology solutions, including roadmaps, architectural patterns, and design specifications. • Collaborate with account delivery teams to drive innovation aligned with client technology trends. • Lead hands-on development and prototyping across AWS/Azure, data platforms, MEAN/MERN stack, Python, Spring, and REST/JSON APIs. • Architect enterprise-wide systems, including integration with third-party and SaaS applications. • Guide and inspire cross-functional technical teams, including offshore/onsite collaboration. • Partner with customer architecture teams to review and refine tools, technologies, and solutions. • Lead solutioning for business challenges, contribute to proposals, and present technology viewpoints to clients. The ideal candidate should have; • 10+ years of experience in professional software development • 5+ years of experience in technical leadership role such as Enterprise architect, Solution architect • Background working within the Insurance industry. • Good knowledge of Cloud, Containers, Cloud Native platform such as Kubernetes • Hands on experience architecting GenAI, AI/ML applications • Knowledgeable in Java Spring, API Gateway development frameworks.
