We are currently partnering with a rapidly growing global specialty insurer to recruit an IT Risk & Controls Business Analyst. The successful candidate will bring together IT business and risk teams to implement new control frameworks and ways of working while prioritising the backlog and ensuring delivery meets agreed time cost and quality standards. Key responsibilities; • Partner with IT, Risk, and business stakeholders to gather and document requirements for the IT Risk & Controls programme, translating them into clear deliverables and action plans. • Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including business requirements, process maps, control frameworks, and gap analyses. • Support prioritisation and sequencing discussions, ensuring requirements are aligned to regulatory expectations and business objectives. • Identify and track dependencies, risks, and issues, ensuring appropriate mitigation actions are documented and followed through to resolution. • Coordinate cross-functional, matrix teams to ensure timely input, clarity of ownership, and alignment on deliverables. • Facilitate stakeholder workshops and governance meetings, capturing decisions, actions, and maintaining clear audit trails. • Produce concise status reports and executive briefing materials, providing clear visibility of progress, risks, and control enhancements. The ideal candidate should have but not limited to; • Proven experience delivering IT Risk, IT Controls, or IT Governance projects. • Background within the insurance market. • Strong understanding of IT General Controls (ITGC), cyber security controls, and risk frameworks. • Experience working in regulated environments. • Solid business analysis background.
