We are working with a World Leading Insurance Broker for a Vice President Group Reporting Manager. Reporting to the International Financial Controller, the successful candidate will be a leading a consolidated team of accountants responsible for group consolidation, reporting, external audit and financial control. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to; • Coordination of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close process and consolidation. Oversees the close timetable for the International business ensuring the consolidated UK and US GAAP results are produced in an accurate and timely manner. • Coordinates the annual external audit process for the International business ensuring the group audit process is completed efficiently and in a timely manner. • Coordinates the preparation of the annual UK GAAP financial statements for the group’s UK entities, ensuring that appropriate accounting policies and disclosures are applied. • Acts as a point of contact for technical accounting matters. Overseeing production of accounting papers for significant transactions. • Ensures US GAAP accounting schedules and work papers are submitted to the group’s US parent in a timely manner. • Coordinates the production and submissions of UK regulatory returns to the Financial Conduct Authority. • Maintenance of accurate ledgers and ensuring journals are raised in line with appropriate policies. The ideal candidate should be; • Minimum 8+ years experience post qualified accountant • Experience of leading and motivating a small team of accountants • Strong technical skills and knowledge of UK GAAP
