Senior Syndicate Accountant – Global Insurance Firm A leading global insurance and reinsurance organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Syndicate Accountant to join its London-based team. This role offers the opportunity to work across diverse business lines including energy, cyber, marine, political risk, and property, within a well-regarded Lloyd’s syndicate environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead syndicate reporting to the parent company Oversee regulatory and tax reporting for Lloyd’s Provide actuarial support on premium estimates (gross and reinsurance) Prepare annual accounts and ensure robust accounting processes Conduct analytical reviews and maintain SOX-compliant financial controls Supervise team performance, development, and workflow planning Maintain thorough documentation and reporting support files Candidate Profile: Qualified accountant with 5+ years post-qualification experience Strong background in Lloyd’s reporting and accounting processes Familiar with SOX controls and financial compliance Proven leadership and team management skills Proficient in SAP and advanced Excel (PowerPivot/PowerQuery desirable) Excellent communication and analytical capabilities
