A leading insurance group with a strong international footprint is looking to appoint a Senior Risk Analyst to join its growing Enterprise Risk function. This business is at the forefront of specialist and emerging risk underwriting, combining deep market expertise with a modern, tech-forward platform. This is a key hire supporting the Head of Enterprise Risk in delivering the group-wide risk management plan, with a particular focus on enterprise, operational, and underwriting risk. The role offers genuine breadth, senior exposure, and an opportunity to contribute to shaping risk frameworks across a complex, fast-moving group. The Role: • Support the development and implementation of the group-wide enterprise risk management framework, policies, and processes • Assist in the delivery of the annual risk plan across the business, supporting multiple international functions and senior stakeholders • Contribute to the execution of a material risk identification process across business lines and central functions • Work with first-line teams to develop risk appetite statements and help ensure risks are identified, monitored, and maintained within those limits • Support delivery and oversight of the Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) programme, with a strong focus on underwriting and operational processes • Assist in the preparation of Risk Committee reports and wider risk governance materials • Conduct horizon scanning and research into emerging risks relevant to the business’ • Contribute to the development and roll-out of a GRC (governance, risk & compliance) system for enterprise use • Maintain a strong understanding of current and emerging risk management practices and how they apply to the wider business Ideal Candidate Profile: • Demonstrable experience in enterprise and/or operational risk within the insurance sector – London market or MGA experience is a plus • Familiarity with the FCA and/or Lloyd’s regulatory frameworks • Comfortable working in a high-growth or change-oriented environment with evolving risk needs • Solid understanding of RCSA processes, risk appetite frameworks, and control effectiveness • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines • Strong communicator with the confidence to work directly with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation • Collaborative mindset with a proactive, solution-driven approach to risk This is a fantastic opportunity for a risk professional looking to step into a broader, more strategic role with strong growth potential and high business visibility.
