We are currently partnering with a Global Specialty Insurance and Broking organisation to recruit an FP&A Senior Analyst (AVP). The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering insightful financial analysis, supporting strategic decision-making, and driving enhanced financial planning and reporting capabilities across the European business. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Lead the consolidation of the annual European budget, five-year plan, and quarterly forecasts, preparing executive presentations for senior leadership. • Manage the annual expense budgeting and forecasting process for central cost centres within Europe. • Streamline and enhance expense allocation processes and reporting. • Coordinate the month-end close and ensure the timely delivery of accurate financial results. • Prepare and present executive-level financial packs and committee reports. • Collaborate with the wider international FP&A team to provide accurate and insightful European financial results. • Develop and improve FP&A reporting capabilities, leveraging financial systems and tools. • Produce key strategic KPIs aligned with group objectives and business performance goals. • Deliver ad hoc analysis on revenue, costs, and profitability to support business decisions. • Monitor and report on investment performance against plan. • Partner with Tax, Operations, and International Finance teams to support accurate reporting for global initiatives. • Build strong stakeholder relationships across Finance, Operations, and Business Leadership teams. • Act as a trusted advisor to divisional leadership, providing clear insights and commercial support. • Contribute to continuous improvement within the Finance function, enhancing processes, controls, and analytics. The ideal candidate should have: • Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA). • Strong academic background, ideally degree-educated. • Solid experience in finance or accounting, gained either in industry or professional practice. • Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working across multiple regions or cultures. • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and provide clear insight. • Proactive and solutions-oriented approach, comfortable challenging the status quo and driving change. • Experience presenting financial information to senior management. • Advanced Excel proficiency; experience with financial reporting tools is advantageous. • Previous exposure to the insurance or financial services industry is desirable but not essential.
