We are currently partnering with a rapidly growing Speciality Insurer to recruit a Senior Business Analyst on the Business Transformation proposition. The successful candidate play a critical role in delivering their flagship Underwriting Workbench programme. This places you at the heart of a major strategic initiative to modernise underwriting capabilities across the London Market business.
Key responsibilities;
• Lead business analysis activities across the full lifecycle of the Underwriting Workbench programme
• Build strong relationships with Underwriters and operational teams to understand workflows, challenges and strategic goals
• Elicit, analyse and document complex business requirements, ensuring clarity, alignment and traceability
• Work with Testing teams to ensure all requirements are SMART and testable
• Shape the future Target Operating Model for underwriting
• Facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders across underwriting and operations
• Translate London Market processes such as pre-bind, bind, endorsements, renewals and delegated authority into actionable system and data requirements
• Collaborate with Architecture and Technology teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise strategy and support system implementations and configuration
• Drive process optimisation, identify automation opportunities, improve data quality and provide guidance to junior Business Analysts
The ideal candidate should have but not limited to:
• Experience as a Business Analyst within the London Market insurance sector (ideally within a managing agent).
• Strong understanding of underwriting processes across the end to end policy lifecycle.
• Experience working on underwriting platforms or workbench implementations.
• Permanent background, no contractors.
