Senior Bordereaux Technician £40,000 Essex – Flexible hybrid working Edenbrook are currently recruiting for a Senior Bordereaux Technician for a rapidly growing specialist professional services firm that works in partnership with leading insurance companies globally. The successful candidate will enjoy a client facing role with a strong bordereaux background with Lloyd’s systems exposure. Responsibilities: • Accurate Cover note interpretation. • Understand premium terms and how to calculate premium adjustments. • Identify factors which may lead to reinsurance reporting thresholds. • Review factors against the terms and conditions of the reinsurance contract. • Ensure compliance to any contractual reporting triggers. • Calculate reinsurance recoveries against a complex Reinsurance programme. • Knowledge of Reinsurance credit control function • Assist with the process of new Ceded Reinsurance systems. • Review Ceded Reinsurance record entry into source systems. • Adherence to internal controls, including Risk and SOX controls • Improve the current provision of data necessary for internal and external reporting. Experience: • Understanding the full Reinsurance process from Placement through to Credit Control and Reporting. • Strong IT skills with an intermediate/advanced level of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. • Around 5 years’ experience within the London market
