New Opportunity with a well-established insurance and reinsurance group. The role is responsible for various technical accounting and control tasks related to the monthly and quarterly financial close process. Financial Controls Consultant Responsibilities: •Contribute to functional strategy development and prioritises operational deliverables and activities of team to support delivery of overall business targets. •Prepare payment runs, maintain supplier details and managing receivables ledgers. •Monitor the purchase ledger and sales ledger on an on-going basis. •Manage client’s administrative matters to include coding and posting invoices and expenses claims Knowledge: •BA/BS in accounting, finance, or another relevant field. •Strong experience in implementation of business process internal controls, SOX compliance, and accounting and finance. •Qualified accountant or pursuing qualification in accountancy •Good level of computer skills including MS Excel and Word, as well as other systems •Excellent organisational skills
