We are currently partnering with a Market Leading Speciality Insurance company to recruit a Finance Transformation & Syndicate Accounting Manager. Reporting to the Head of Finance Change, the successful candidate will act as a Finance specialist on the Global Finance GL Transformation Project, manage ongoing Finance Small Change initiatives, and support the Syndicate Finance and Reporting teams to ensure accurate and timely financial delivery. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Manage the Finance Change Prioritisation Working Group, including coordinating monthly meetings, documentation, and tracking progress and deliverables. • Provide monthly updates and reporting to Finance Leadership on key initiatives within the Finance Change Portfolio. • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on key Finance projects, contributing insight and expertise. • Deliver regular updates and training sessions to the Finance Capability team on process changes and new functionality introduced through Finance Change. • Maintain regular collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Change, Data, Finance Systems, and IT. • Offer flexible support in the delivery of the syndicate result and production of the balance sheet. • Assist the Syndicate Finance Manager with various monthly and quarterly accounting tasks. • Support the Lloyd’s Reporting team in preparing and submitting annual regulatory returns. The ideal candidate should have: • Solid background working within the Lloyd’s Market. • Experience working within Finance Change, implementing a General Ledger. • An Accounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA). • Syndicate Experience.
