Compliance Assurance Manager Working with a leading personal lines insurer, you’ll report to the Head of Compliance and play a key role in shaping and delivering the Group Compliance Assurance Plan. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the design and delivery of the Group Compliance Assurance Plan (CAP) within wider Risk & Compliance planning. • Drive annual assurance planning, presenting risk assessments and activity proposals to senior stakeholders. • Manage and develop the Compliance Monitoring team, maintaining high skills and regulatory awareness. • Act as SME on assurance methodologies and oversee co/outsourced arrangements. • Ensure timely delivery of the CAP, reporting changes and progress to relevant forums. • Represent Compliance at senior meetings, influencing outcomes on findings and actions. • Oversee and escalate implementation of agreed actions as needed. • Deputise for the Head of Compliance and support key initiatives. • Provide clear, insightful reporting to senior management, committees and boards. Key Skills & Experience: • Strong insurance sector knowledge. • In-depth understanding of FCA requirements, including Consumer Duty. • Proven 2nd or 3rd line compliance/assurance experience. • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
