Edenbrook are recruiting a Finance Accountant for a rapidly growing life and pension specialist Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Supporting the investment accounting process within the Finance department, • Contact with external audit on investment accounting and valuation matters • Supporting any ad hoc change requests or new requests from the accounting operational perspective • Ensuring the valid, accurate and complete transition of assets acquired • Responsibility for investment account matters • Updating of the (financial) Instrument • Ensure timely delivery of input to quarterly and ad-hoc investments-related regulatory returns to the PRA, ONS and ABI • Provide accounting expertise The ideal Candidate should have: • Qualified ACA/ ACCA/CIMA • Strong analytical abilities; understanding of financial services accounting concepts
