Claims Adjuster / Assistant Manager – APH The client, a dynamic leader in its field in both the Lloyd’s and company market is seeking a Senior Claims Adjuster / Assistant Manager to join its exciting and growing UK APH claims team. Due to constant acquisitions my client’s team is growing and are looking for an experienced Claims Adjuster to assist with complex claims and its Lloyd’s Syndicate business. The overall job includes but not limited to; a. Support the efficient adjustment, reserving and settlement of claims in accordance with company philosophy and guidelines b. Supervise claims in accordance with authority limits c. Participate in the strategic management of complex claims d. Identify and report on large movements, financial trends and/or anomalies and provide expected movement forecasts e. Monitor and report progress against company goals f. Supervise direct reports’ compliance with internal control and procedures, and in respect of external regulation g. Support the development of direct reports’ technical knowledge and skills h. Review cash flow forecasts i. Manage and/or participate in internal and external audits j. Manage relationships with outsource providers k. Support asset and reinsurance recovery l. Report to the Claims Manager, Senior Manager, Claims Director and Executive Committee regarding performance and activity m. Liaise with Legal Department on applicable claims and/or issues n. Liaise with actuarial to assist in predicting ultimate loss, IBNR requirements ad reserve reviews
