We are currently recruiting for a proven senior industry Consultant in Insurance and responsible for managing and growing relationship with c-level of a global insurer. Candidate will be expected to build strong relationship with c-level and become a trusted advisor over time, enabling the delivery of business-led, technology-enabled change / transformation programs for the Insurer, leveraging digital and new age technologies Professional skills and responsibilities include but are not limited to: The candidate will • Will have strong industry knowledge in General (P&C) Insurance • Will have a proven track record of successfully working with C-level executives and relationship building • Will be experienced in using a consultative approach to building relationship at the c-level • Possess a good amount of functional and technical knowledge in domains such as Product Development, Sales & Distribution, Underwriting & Pricing, Policy Administration, Claims Management, Reinsurance, Billing & Payments, Financial Accounting • Have an understanding of various COTS solutions available in the market in the above-mentioned domains • Analyse marketplace trends (from perspectives such as economical, social, technological, etc.) to identify opportunities and create value propositions • Offer a global perspective in stakeholder discussions and when shaping up solutions/recommendations o Work in a matrix organisation, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution o Demonstrate thought leader-level abilities and have a proven record of success • In directing, leading and being part of consulting / advisory efforts • In leading discussions, meetings, value discovery and design thinking workshops with client Business and technology c-level and identifying and addressing their needs, challenges, pain-points • In re-engineering/re-designing Insurance Business Processes (e.g. Policy Administration, Claims) and transforming/modernizing associated systems using either COTS or Bespoke solutions and helping clients with achieving the defined business outcomes • In directing, executing efforts such as business analysis, requirements gathering, problem analysis, and resolution skills • In effectively positioning a broad range of offerings and providing feedback to develop new offerings aligned with market trends, customers’ needs and priorities • Qualifications: o Academic degree from reputable university. Masters preferred but not obligatory. o Minimum 8-10 years of Experience across Insurance and technology Industries o Insurance Certifications – e.g. CII, CPCU, etc. desirable
