Role Summary: A Financial Lines Underwriter is sought to support the growth of a professional indemnity portfolio, with a focus on regional and international markets. The role involves risk assessment, pricing, policy negotiation, and documentation, alongside fostering broker and client relationships to drive profitable growth. Key Responsibilities: • Underwrite new and renewal PI risks in line with guidelines • Develop and manage broker relationships • Seek and convert new business opportunities • Ensure profitability of the portfolio • Contribute to strategic projects and attend relevant market events • Support broader team development and underwriting best practices Ideal Candidate Profile: • 5–8 years’ experience in professional indemnity or financial lines • Strong communication, IT, and relationship-building skills • Proactive and self-motivated with a collaborative mindset • Degree educated Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in the London Market or Lloyd’s • Established broker network
