We are working closely with a leading global Consultancy who are looking to add Sustainability and Climate Change specialists to their leading Sustainability Services function, a team that is part of the wider Risk Advisory function. Working within the Sustainability Services team, this role will provide additional depth to complement strong sustainability specialists in addition to bringing additional breadth to the firms already in-depth capabilities. The team supports a wide range of UK and global clients on their most pressing sustainability challenges and provides various offerings ranging from strategy design to independent assurance. As a consultant within the team, you will help provide subject matter expertise to clients within the portfolio to not only help clients manage risk but also helping them understand what opportunities there are to give them a competitive advantage with the market. You will be responsible for: • Utilising your financial services subject matter knowledge to lead on select business development activities. • Acting in the capacity of ‘engagement manager’, taking ownership for all aspects of engagement delivery from scoping, programme and team selection through to delivery, quality management and budgetary control. • Holding and continuing to develop fluent knowledge of financial services sustainability practices. • Providing leadership to junior team members and associate resources. • Developing strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the firm. • Developing our go to market activities within the financial services sector, demonstrating ability to generate leads and expand our opportunities in this area. • Broadening relationships beyond financial services clients and working alongside others on all sustainability matters and industries as the team continues to grow.
