Edenbrook are working with a specialist insurer to help source the role of a Senior Marine and Energy Claims Adjuster. New opportunity within the Lloyd's Insurance Market, working with a market leader in the War and Terrorism, Energy, and Marine sectors. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the claims adjudication process, providing management and clients with an efficient and effective claims service. Key Responsibilities: • Acting within an agreed claims authority and upholding the departmental objectives • Adhering to Lloyd’s Minimum Standards • Receiving first notifications and updates • Determining coverage • Establishing and maintaining reserves • Managing third party experts • Face to face negotiations with brokers • Handling claims electronically predominately via ECF • Representing the syndicate at Market Meetings • Maintain compliance with internal and external risk controls and regulatory requirements. • To monitor organisations where syndicate has delegated claims authority • To report claims notification to underwriters and senior management Required skills: • Lloyd’s Managing Agent/ London market company or broker background experience • Direct & FAC RI within Hull, Energy and On-Shore/Downstream Energy. • Qualified or part qualified ACII • Full working knowledge of ECF an advantage
