One of the world's largest insurers are now looking for an Actuarial Risk and Controls Senior Manager to join their Risk & Controls Centre of Excellence. This role can be based anywhere in the UK, as long as you are open to monthly travel to the companies offices The role supports the execution of risk and control assessment activity within the UK Finance function, looking at all aspects of the control environment in Finance, but not limited to those associated with financial reporting. Specific focus will be on actuarial processes, with targeted activity on Model Risk, End User Computing testing and review of Solvency II basis risks. You will also be responsible for leadership in the team, in terms of line management, training and proactive engagement with senior stakeholders. This opportunity will allow for someone to be a part of the key changes in a huge organisation – interacting across Group level as part of a horizontal team. The work will always be new and complex – where real input can be seen add direct value to our business.
