Our client a global insurance brokerage and risk management services firm are seeking a Senior Fianance Business Partner, responsible for working closely with FP&A and will be based within the Overseas Finance team based in London. Supporting the Finance function of the overseas regions of the Group. The role will report directly to the Overseas Finance Director for the sub-Division responsible for analysis of the monthly results for the designated area of the business in addition to annual budget preparation and further month end and finance team related tasks. This Overseas division includes regions Europe, Asia, and Middle East. Responsibilities will include • Responsible for assisting Overseas Finance Director and regional CEO/CFOs with the annual budgeting process. • Responsible for assisting Overseas Finance Director with the annual strategic and dominant priorities process (5 year planning). • Liaising with colleagues based in UK and abroad across EMEA for the completion of all finance deliverables and responsibilities, and assisting with all finance-related queries and deliverables. • Preparation of monthly reporting including: commentary analysis, salary analysis, revenue activity templates, EBITDAC walkthrough etc. • Assisting HR with annual comp and bonus review. • Assisting with month end finance reporting processes, including review of P&L, and liaising with team to ensure data are posted correctly in the system. • Consolidating all Overseas businesses financial data and completing US corporate templates. • Assisting Overseas Finance Director with the monthly forecast. • Assisting with the editing of the executive committee paper and board papers. • Responsible for completing US corporate reporting templates for IB Overseas. • Working with Overseas Finance Director and the M&A team on financial analysis and due diligence review for pipeline acquisitions with EMEA. Qualifications • University degree preferable and qualification of ACCA/CA essential Technical Knowledge • Good understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint. • Good understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. • Previous experience of US GAAP desirable but not essential. Experience • Previous experience working in Financial Services management and/or insurance preferable • SoX and regulatory/control based environment understanding desirable
