An exciting insurance business based in South London, are seeking a Senior Finance professional to join their team. Due to growth over the last year this is a newly created position where you will work closely with the CFO, to create a dynamic and controlled finance function for the future. It’s an exciting opportunity for a dynamic accountant to be involved in both the commercial and reporting elements across the finance teams. What to expect; -- Support the CFO in the production of the Group financial statements and Solvency II reporting -- Support and lead the process to produce financial sections of group reporting. -- Work collaboratively with the commercial team in setting up and establishing the 3-5 year business plan -- Take a leading role in the implementation of new accounting standards -- Actively contribute to the delivery of finance change projects that impact the team What we need; -- Qualified Accountant -- Experience working within Financial services (insurance not required but desirable) -- Understanding of business objectives and the market they operate in -- Excel user skills
