We are currently recruiting for an Exciting Senior Reinsurance Technician opportunity for a well-established, specialist market leading Insurer. Reporting into the Reinsurance manager, the successful candidate will be overseeing all aspects of the companies ceded reinsurance programme within the Business accounting department. Key Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: • Create reinsurance risks in core systems. • Ensure reinsurance premium and related expenses are correctly managed. • Ensure the timely and accurate calculation and issuance of reinsurance recoveries. • Support the Actuarial and Finance teams in all aspects of financial reporting. • Satisfy all internal and external reporting requirements. • Escalate material issues to Senior Management and monitor through to resolution. • Demonstrate a clear understanding of the reinsurance process and internal controls. The ideal candidate should have: • Previous experience within reinsurance. • Experience working within an accounting function. • Strong Analytical skills.
