Edenbrook are currently recruiting for a Project Accounting Manager for one of UK’s leading Insurance providers. The successful candidate will be assisting with the preparation of testing/reporting of Migrated Policies and Consolidation for the FP&A team and Statutory Accounts. Main responsibilities: • Constructing the processes and controls to accurately report migrated policies. • Working alongside the Financial Reporting Team to assist with transition of IFRS17 to BAU reporting basis. • Analysing the results and outputs from the completed IFRS17 reporting templates to support the Senior Financial Reporting Manager. • Assisting the team to prepare the financial and management reporting. • Working with the Senior Financial Reporting Manager to understand and implement IFRS17 changes. • Working with the Group Financial Controller to keep the Executive and Board level up-to-date with any required changes. • Assisting with the production of any ad hoc financial reporting and analysis. The ideal candidate should have but not limited to; • A qualified accountant. • Significant experience in an insurance financial accounting role. • A good understanding of reporting within the General Insurance industry. • Experience and understanding of IFRS17. • Experience and understanding of Group Reporting.
