Claims Adjuster - E&O / PI / FL £50,000 - £60,000 London – Flexible hybrid working A top performing Lloyds Syndicate are seeking an experienced Claims Adjuster/Handler to join their outstanding Errors and Omissions Team, including a wider portfolio of Professional Indemnity and Financial Lines claims as they aim to supplement continual growth. Key responsibilities & accountabilities • Perform claims adjusting in accordance with the London claims obligations • Handle specific class of business, US and International Errors and Omissions, Professional Indemnity and Financial Lines claims for which claims authority has been agreed with the Head of Claims. • Ensure the Syndicate meets internal and external standards for claims handling and customer service in particular by ensuring ECF and paper file turnaround times are met. • Manage end to end claims processes through the use of Syndicate systems such as DOCOsoft workflow. • Maintain positive relationships with clients and brokers and third party experts. • Liaise with underwriters to maintain a valuable flow of information on claims issues and their impact on underwriting and policy interpretation. • Actively manage loss adjusters and other experts to ensure that claims and expert fees are managed appropriately and in a timely manner. • Maintain strong communication and advise the head of department on any relevant claims movements/issues/trends. You will need to demonstrate the following skills & experience: • Demonstrable claims background within Errors and Omissions is essential, Professional Indemnity and wider Financial Lines desirable. • Part ACII qualified or working towards ACII. • Technically sound claims knowledge. • Working knowledge of London market claims systems (ECF). • Proficient in Word/Excel and similar applications in order to report on claims information to underwriters and other members of the claims team. • Team player with a positive and flexible attitude to change and development alongside achieving team objectives.
