An award-winning Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Team, is looking or a new member to join, their London office due to continues success and Growth. In the last 10 years they have completed on close to 200 Deals and over £45 Billion in M&A Deal success. This particular role will be within their Financial Services M&A Team and as such a background within FS, whether that be Banking, Asset Management Insurance etc, is required. In the role you will become a critical members of the team, working directly with Managing Directors and Executive Directors on pitches and engagements. You will be given significant responsibility in transaction execution. Responsibilities include: -- Researching industry sector and market insights -- Assessing comparable companies, precedent transactions and potential investors/buyers -- Preparing and reviewing complex financial analyses and models -- Crafting detailed memos, presentations and pitches -- Conducting due diligence investigations -- Coordinating group efforts for pitch and transaction related activity -- Presenting materials internally -- Training and mentoring Analysts within the team Qualifications: -- Prior work experience within Transaction Services / Corporate Finance is preferred -- Financial Services Experience -- Successful candidates must have particularly strong quantitative, writing and interpersonal skills -- Qualified Accountant
