Edenbrook are currently recruiting a Lloyd’s Reporting Accountant. The individual will ensure financial reporting to Lloyd’s is completed and delivered on time They will also support team members with technical issues and/or IFRS group deliveries as well as actively contribute to the wider finance transformation program. Key Responsibilities: • Ensure production, quality assurance and delivery of required Lloyd’s returns (UK GAAP and SII Basis) for Syndicate. • Preparation and quality assurance of statutory accounts • Improve and automate existing processes and then integrate them efficiently with the current Syndicate reporting process • Undertake ad hoc investigation and analysis work, as requested by management or external bodies, to agreed standards within agreed timescales • Support team with IFRS/SII group reporting delivery • Organize and drive continuous improvement groups and projects to increase efficiencies in finance processes through standardization, simplification and automation • Liaise with external and internal auditors The ideal candidate: • Demonstrate detailed knowledge of UK GAAP, SII and IFRS • Have experience in end-to-end finance processes, such as Finance operations, Planning, Forecasting, Financial close, intercompany process and Reporting • Experience of managing and/or leading a range of accounting projects • Strong relationship management skills to influence stakeholders and senior management
