We are currently working with one of the World’s Leading Insurance companies to recruit a New Head of Regulatory Reporting (12month FTC). You will be reporting into the financial controller to ensure financial reporting to Lloyd’s is delivered on time and desired quality level, in an effective controlled environment.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to;
• Reviewing the quality assurance and delivery of all required Lloyd’s returns (UK GAAP and SII Basis).
• Reviewing all statutory accounts and Syndicate accounts.
• RI counterparty Risk reporting.
• Reviewing all company tax returns and all VAT returns.
• Reviewing All other regulatory returns e.g. RMAR etc.
• Improve and automate existing processes and then integrate them efficiently with the current reporting process
• Organize and drive continuous improvement groups and projects to increase efficiencies in finance processes through standardization, simplification and automation
• Liaise with external and internal auditors
• Help drive forward good Conduct for the business to deliver the best outcomes for customers / policyholders.
The ideal candidate should have;
• An accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Experience in Lloyd’s and Solvency II.
• Demonstrate detailed knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
• Have experience in end-to-end finance processes, such as, Financial close, intercompany process and Reporting.
• Experience of managing and/or leading a range of accounting projects.
