Edenbrook are recruiting a Financial Reporting Manager who will support and oversee the monthly financial statement across different jurisdiction and currency. The individual is expected to strengthen the process and controls for efficiency to support up-scaling of the business whilst also working closely with Finance Director to on-board and integrate these entities within the Group. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Independently lead and close the consolidated month the end close processes • On-board an integrate the newly acquired businesses into Group whilst aligning them to Group standards. • Support the Group FD in the production of the monthly group financial packs • Enhance the quality of reporting available to senior leadership and along with technical, present commercial viable information to group. • Preparing weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts • Assisting on treasury and cash management • Finessing the Group intercompany re-charge and transfer pricing process with Group FD • Preparing and overseeing the quarterly and annual tax computations for and with the external advisors • Assisting on the year-end audit process • Assisting the Group FD on Analysis of intercompany balances, including loans and trading balances, unwinding of these as required • Responding to periodic requests from private equity backers and external debt providers & FX analysis The ideal candidate should have: • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) within the insurance industry • Prior experience of working on month-end closing procedures • Experience of dealing with external and internal audit queries • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting analysis. • Knowledge of insurance / MGA systems and processes
