Finance Support Analyst Leeds (3 days WFH) £32-40k A leading global specialist in the London and European markets are seeking a Finance Support Analyst to join the Finance Department. This individual will have responsibility for the support, enhancement and maintenance of systems and processes to support the wider Finance team. Your responsibilities for this role may include, but are not limited to: • Drive the improvement and streamlining of existing manual processes across finance and accounting by providing automated solutions through existing Financial platforms, development of VBA /macros & other • Contribute to the development of team’s business plan in order to maximize productivity and performance • Proactively partner with members of the Finance department and learn about the business to translate business requirements into working solutions • Partner with business, finance, accounting and IT to drive best practice sharing, process efficiencies and enhanced controls • Project manage solutions, prioritize and understand when to escalate issues to achieve the required outcome and timeframes • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including internal and external auditors, to ensure service delivery meets customer expectations • Develop relationships in line with the business plan for the division to support the achievement of its objectives • Manage, execute, and streamline the processes necessary to support the financial close across monthly, quarterly and annual cycles You will need to be able to display you have the following qualifications and experience: • Strong mathematical and Excel skills • Strong record of building efficiency upon existing processes as well creating and implementing new processes • Process-minded and solid financial acumen with ability to explain business systems and information • Excellent spoken and written communication skills with experience of adapting style and approach to the audience and message to be delivered • Comfortable with working directly with Stakeholders across all levels of the organization on requirements gathering and analysis
