We are currently recruiting for a Corporate Development Manager opportunity for a leading international private health insurance company. Reporting into the Head of Group M&A/Group Portfolio & Capital Management Director, the successful candidate will support all aspects of the group to maximise value across M&A and Strategic Partnerships. Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to: • Monitor macroeconomic trends, industry and market dynamics, competitive landscape and potential disruptors. • Support execution of a comprehensive Corporate Development strategy. • Performing analysis to support strategic advice and insights on Corporate Development matters. • Provide analysis to help influence and enhance capital allocation and re-deployment decisions. • Lead capital analysis activities. • Continuously improve the statutory capital, regulatory solvency capital and liquidity management information. • Prepare internal briefing papers for senior management including the CEO, CFO and Group Corporate Development Director. • Prepare governance papers for the Board. • Develop and maintain key relationships with Market / Business Units and Group Functions. • Support the continuous enhancement of our portfolio analysis processes and data • Support inorganic transaction origination and execution across the Group. • Supporting regular detailed reviews and strategic option analysis. The ideal candidate should have: • An accounting qualification or be a Chartered Financial Analyst. • 6+ years of experience in corporate development, M&A, finance, professional services, investment banking, or private equity. • Experience working within the Insurance market will be beneficial. • A bachelor’s degree or higher. • Experience of successfully supporting execution of M&A transactions (desirable)
