New position with a leading global provider of reinsurance, primary insurance and insurance-related risk solutions. The role involves ensuring that operational cash requirement of the Syndicate group are met, efficiently and effectively within the restriction of the counterparty risk as set, as well as completing bank reconciliations and key Balance Sheet control accounts including Payroll are complete on time and to desired quality level. Key Responsibilities: • Daily operation cash process, ensuring that the short term cash forecasting is completing with efficient allocation of liquid resources throughout the group. • Liaising with group treasury and investment teams on cash requirements. • Assisting with intercompany recharges and funding. • Bank reconciliations ensuring that these are completed monthly with appropriate supporting documentation. • Liaising with the banking providers to ensure that we receive an effective service • Processes monthly payroll in a timely and accurate manner. Liaising with HR department to identify, investigate and resolve discrepancies in payroll records. • Payroll reconciliations ensuring that the control accounts are cleared with full support for open items. • Processing and ensure that ex pat recharges are made on time. • Production of PSA returns from HMRC. • Liaising with HR to produce P11d items that will be included in the P11d return. • Ensure all processes are documented effectively. • Assist in other areas of the team where appropriate and any other ad-hoc task as assigned. • Any other Adhoc requests from manger To be successful in this role, you’ll need to: • Previous Payroll and Cash Management experience • Able to work in a fast paced environment • Good communication skills • Good Excel skills • Attention to detail • Able to work independently • Can use own initiative • University Degree and/or relevant professional qualification
