Business Test Lead London £85k – 9mths FTC Working with a global top 10 insurance group undergoing innovative modernisation and transformation, are looking for a Business Test Lead within the P&C UK Closure project for a 9 month FTC. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, P&C UK Project, with whom the individual will work, as well as the business analyst team and subject matter experts to take responsibility for the end to end testing capability for a series of work packages involving application data migrations and archivals, which are key enablers for the project’s success, and running these in line with project milestones. With responsibilities for translating requirements from the business into test strategy and plans and creating the scripts for functional and user testing; developing use cases, acceptance criteria and managing the UAT function. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities • Translating work package requirements and objectives into a test strategy, test plans and scripts, aligned to acceptance criteria • Responsible for signing new change (Process or technology) into production • Defining a test strategy and managing to and reporting on a delivery/test plan • Reporting on the testing activities and tasks • Capable of assessing defects and change • Analysing processes and data flows through effective engagement with the business • To explore solution(s) to the customer's requirements and to recommend the best approach • Form effective working relations across different sets of stakeholders You will need to be able to display you have the following qualifications and experience: • Strong insurance / financial service industry background, preferably in the Lloyd’s market • Strong business analysis experience, along with proven business analysis and test capability • Experience of data migration and archival would be preferable • Experience of working with technical architects • Experience of working with outsourced and /or external third-party suppliers/partners • Strong understanding and experience of business process mapping and reengineering
