An Insurance software and technology company that promotes creativity and innovation within the worldwide travel sector. As being part of the claims team, the role involves investigating, negotiating and the settling of claims over a 2 year training period, whilst also being allocated a small number of claims to start building a portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that allocated claims are fully investigated
- Communicate with policyholders, solicitors and others by telephone and in writing
- Maintain accurate estimates on outstanding claims so the appropriate reserve can be made for each claim
- Work within the team to ensure that all claims are settled within appropriate time scales
- Work flexibly within the team, assisting colleagues wherever pressure is greatest to enhance overall team performance
- The role is primarily office based
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience
- Excellent Communication Skills, Customer Service Skills, Self-Development, Computer Skills, Enthusiasm
- Ability to liaise and work closely with Training Coach and manager in order to develop & mentor knowledge
- Being able to target Customers & Suppliers
- Ensure that allocated claims are fully investigated
- Having a willingness to learn with the experience of working in an Office Environment, as well as providing an excellent customer service
It would be highly beneficial to have previous experience within the insurance industry although not essential.
