Syndicate Accountant We are partnering with a specialty insurance business who are looking to hire a Syndicate Accountant to support Lloyd’s syndicate financial and regulatory reporting activities. The role involves producing accurate financial returns, supporting audits, and contributing to process improvements across the finance function. Key Responsibilities - Prepare quarterly and annual Lloyd’s reporting under UK GAAP and Solvency UK. - Produce statutory accounts, regulatory returns, and management reporting. - Complete balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and ledger preparation. Support audit and compliance requirements. - Assist with process improvements and reporting enhancements. - Work closely with Finance, Actuarial, Operations, Claims, and Underwriting teams. Requirements - ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified / part-qualified. - Previous Lloyd’s syndicate reporting experience essential. - Good understanding of insurance accounting, UK GAAP, and Solvency UK. - Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills. - Advanced Excel skills required; exposure to Coda and WDesk advantageous.
