An insurance and reinsurance business with a track record of success, across the acquisition and management space are seeking a M&A Transactions and Planning Manager, which, has come about due to internal progression. The business has a strong balance sheet and access to varied forms of acquisitions with over 70 in the previous recent years. This includes Acquisitions with major Financial Institutions across the UK and Europe. The role is predominantly responsible for coordinating and assisting in, the businesses prospective and active M&A activities. You will work closely with the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis and Deputy Group CFO, leading the strategic growth agenda and manage delivery of global M&A and disposals from origination to execution. Key Responsibilities; --Perform analysis on projects, including financial due diligence on information received from targets, and validation of financial, operational and strategic assumptions in pricing models to assess projected returns on prospective deals, and prepare reports on findings --Leading M&A transactions --Analyse complex ideas or proposals and provide meaningful recommendations to decision-makers --Preparing investment and value proposition papers on potential targets --Prepare financial analysis and forecast modelling for prospective and active transactions --Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making During deal rotations you will also support the Head of FP&A and CFO; --Assist with the operational planning and integration of new portfolios from a finance and treasury perspective --Maintain forecast and plan assumptions to safeguard the robustness of the budget and reforecasts, assist with the gathering of plan data from cost centers and ensure that this data is appropriately captured within the planning models What we need; -- Have ACCA / ACA certification or equivalent -- Transaction Service experience ideally from the Top 6 Accounting Firms -- Insurance experience -- coordinated due diligence activities and the review of transaction documentation -- Display excellent organisational skills.
