Interim Financial Close Accountant We’re looking for a hands-on Finance Contractor on a 3-month fixed-term contract to support a busy finance team dealing with a significant backlog. This is a delivery-focused role where you’ll make an immediate impact while helping improve and streamline existing processes. Key Responsibilities - Support core finance activities and period-end close - Help clear backlogs and stabilise day-to-day operations - Review and improve manual finance processes - Implement practical, efficiency-driven solutions About You: - Strong finance background with close/reporting experience - Proven track record in process improvement - Self-starter with a proactive, ownership mindset - Comfortable working under pressure with minimal supervision - Strong Excel skills and quick to adapt in small teams
