New opportunity, whereby as the FP&A Accountant, you will assist with planning/forecasting and analysis for the group and Syndicate. The successful candidate will also be responsible for expense planning/forecasting and analysis for the group and Syndicate. In addition, you will be responsible for board and management reporting, including detailed analysis and commentary. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities • Assist with corporate and Syndicate planning and forecasting, including the SBF • Assist with corporate planning and forecasting • Prepare detailed expense analysis for the corporate group and Syndicate • Prepare quarterly board reports for the corporate entities • Assist with development and enhancement of planning system and processes • Assist with preparation of corporate tax returns • Assist with internal and regulatory reporting for the corporate entities Skills & Qualifications • Key technical skills, knowledge and professional qualifications required • Qualified accountant, with experience of the insurance market • Strong communication skills to effectively manage internal stakeholders of all levels. • Advanced Excel. • Experience of general ledger systems • Understanding of insurance/ reinsurance accounting fundamentals advantageous
