We are currently partnering with a rapidly-growing Speciality Insurance company to recruit a Finance Business Analyst on a 12-month FTC. The successful candidate will be supporting the delivery of strategic initiatives across finance systems, data, and operating model. You will work closely with senior Finance stakeholders and Technology teams to help shape and deliver change that enhances financial reporting, controls, and insight. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Play a key role in delivering a high-profile finance transformation programme, spanning system implementations, process optimisation, and operating model evolution • Partner directly with senior Finance leaders (FP&A, Financial Reporting, Finance Operations) to shape target operating models and define the future state of the finance function • Own and drive the end-to-end requirements process across finance systems, data, and reporting—translating complex challenges into clear, actionable solutions • Lead workshops and working sessions to challenge the status quo, uncover inefficiencies, and identify meaningful transformation opportunities • Design and deliver as-is and to-be process models, conducting gap and impact analysis to support strategic decision-making • Act as the bridge between Finance and Technology, ensuring business needs are clearly understood and effectively translated into system solutions • Collaborate with data teams to enhance finance data quality, governance, and reporting capabilities, enabling better business insight • Play a central role in UAT—shaping test strategy, coordinating execution, and ensuring successful delivery • Support business readiness and implementation, helping embed change and drive adoption across Finance teams • Ensure strong alignment across Finance, Technology, and Change, contributing to successful delivery across the full transformation lifecycle The ideal candidate: • Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA). • Strong background working within the Insurance market with practical application to systems and processes. • Experience of end-to-end process mapping, with solid stakeholder management skills.
