Compliance Monitoring Manager opportunity working for a rapidly growing specialty insurer. Reporting into the Head of Compliance (Malta), you will support regulatory compliance across the company and duties will include developing monitoring policies, delivering risk-based compliance reviews and reports, tracking findings and actions and producing a suite of management information for relevant committee’s and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: -Develop and maintain a risk-based compliance monitoring framework and annual monitoring plan. -Provide second-line compliance oversight and guidance across UK and European businesses. -Promote awareness and understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements among stakeholders. -Conduct compliance monitoring, thematic reviews and risk-based assessments to identify and address regulatory risks. -Monitor adherence to policies and procedures, supporting remediation of findings through to completion. -Maintain accurate compliance records and evidence to demonstrate regulatory compliance. -Support the assessment and enhancement of the compliance control framework. -Produce meaningful management information and reporting for stakeholders and governance committees. Key Skills and Experience: -Minimum 3 years’ experience in a compliance role in insurance business. -Ability to understand and interpret Maltese and European regulatory requirements.
